Proposed Final Federal Formaldehyde Regulations

Everyone who makes, handles, fabricates and sells composite wood products has
been waiting for the EPA to release their final regulations related to implementation of the federal regulation of formaldehyde emissions of composite wood products.  On July 28, 2016 the EPA released a Pre-Publication version of the document which is very likely to be the final version.

Although the EPA program looks a lot like the CARB program by design, there have been a lot of questions regarding the Federal program. NTA has drawn up a document that summarizes the changes and answers many of the questions you may have. You can access the document on our website, at https://www.ntainc.com/pdf/epa-formaldehyde-regulations.pdf. Feel free to download the document for your reference, and contact NTA with further questions.
