Meet our Engineering Team

At NTA, we believe strongly in building long-term relationships with our clients. This is just another reason why we spend time at trade shows, host our annual customer appreciation event, give you direct access to your account managers and now, open the office door to let you meet our staff. This week, we would like to introduce you to our Engineering Team.

Director of Engineering – Ryan Boring, P.E.

Q. What do you enjoy most about your work? 
    Using the codes in different ways to find unique solutions to problems.

Q. What is your favorite thing about working at NTA?  
    Dealing with clients who appreciate the time invested trying to help them find solutions to their questions.

Q. If you could give one tip to clients to help projects along, what would it be?   
    I think the biggest thing would be for them to use our new online system. It has really helped streamline our process for both plan review (modular and manufactured) and engineering. Also, the files are easily transferable as well as keeping a history of comments and changes.

Design Engineer – Tyler Bourdon

Q. What is your favorite thing about working at NTA?

   I enjoy the people I work with. NTA has a family type atmosphere that can be both light hearted and challenging at the same time.

Q. When you aren’t in the office, what do you enjoy doing? 
     I enjoy many things outside of the office such as spending time outdoors fishing, kayaking, hunting, and camping. That being said, I do spend a lot of time indoors as well with my guilty pleasure of playing video games.

Q. If you could give one tip to clients to help projects along, what would it be?

     Give us as much information up front as you can.

Q. You’ve just won an all-expense paid trip to anywhere to participate in your “dream adventure”. Where do you go and what do you do?

     I would go to Greece, it has always been on the top of my list of places to visit since studying it in elementary school. 

Design Engineer – Eric Bozzo

Q. What do you enjoy most about your work?
     I enjoy reviewing the structural aspects of building plans coming through here, especially when everything works out how the client intended.

Q. What is your favorite website to visit on your lunch break?

     I don’t know if I have a true favorite, but I spend more time on ESPN than I should.

CAD Technician – Felipe Ramirez

Q. What do you enjoy most about your work?

     I enjoy working with people here at NTA. They know what they are doing and we trust each other and work as a team rather than individuals.

Q. Do you have a favorite sport? Who is your favorite team?

     My favorite sport is soccer. I watch the Champions league whenever it is on. The team I support is Manchester City.

CAD Technicians – Logan Bourdon

Q. How long have you been with NTA?

      I have been with NTA for 16 months.

Q. What do you enjoy most about your work?

     I enjoy dealing with all the different clients.

Q. How long have you been with NTA? 
     I have been with NTA for about 7 months.

Q. What do you enjoy most about your work? 
     I am always working on something new.
